Not responsible for accidents and there are no bathroom facilities available. Since parking is extremely limited, please park on any one of the side streets (Clay or Lafayette). Park United Methodist Church has been kind enough to allow us to use their ancillary lot located on the east side of Clay Avenue and you can park there (Sign will be posted). Please do not park in their lot directly behind the church as they have school children activities planned.

Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax: There is a 13% buyers premium for this sale which will be added to the final bid price on each item and will be the same if you pay by cash, check or use a credit card.

Residents of Kentucky will be charged a 6% state sales tax that will be applied to all sales unless a KY tax exemption certificate has been completed and signed prior to payment and pickup of items. Out of state sales tax exemption ID numbers may be used when completing the KY tax exemption form. Kentucky state sales tax will not apply to items shipped out of state via Common Carrier (USPS, UPS, Fedex, etc.) but will apply to items purchased by out of state buyers and picked up in the state of Kentucky.

Pickup, Shipping and Payment: Pick up of items won and to be paid for will be held on Thursday, October 5, from 1:00-7:00 pm EST at the auction site: 636 E. High St., Lexington, Ky, 40502. Please bring your own packaging and additional help if needed for loading items. All removals must be completed in a professional and tidy manner. Not responsible for accidents and bathroom facilities will not be available. Since parking is extremely limited, please park on any one of the side streets (Clay or Lafayette). Park United Methodist Church has been kind enough to allow us to use their ancillary lot located on the east side of Clay Avenue and you can park there. If loading larger furniture items, we will attempt to park you closer to the house to ease your loading.
For those buyers who wish to have their merchandise sent or who are out of the area and will not pick the items up, shipping arrangements can be made through the buyer's own shipper as Caswell Prewitt Realty does not provide in-house packing or shipping. All packing and shipping of merchandise will be at the risk and expense of the buyer. We have had good success with Boxstop Shipping Centers and you can contact them at 859 271 2393. Ask for Ann, Wendy, or Stan- they are professionals and will be glad to give you assistance or to give you a quote.
