Description:

This is the way you like to find them! Serial number 18511 which indicates it was made in 1913, this style I appears to be complete but will need a total rebuild. Case is oak and in good untouched condition. The coin slot and related mechanism is there, as is the tracker bar, pump and all keys are on the keyboard. The case has damper knobs on the side which would allow the piano to play a little softer if you want. There is one small piece of art glass missing and a crack in one as well as you can see in the pictures. There is no power cord that would connect from the back of the piano to the outlet but that is easily purchased. I did not find a mandolin rail as well but unsure if this model had the mandolin feature or not. According to the owner, who has had it for 30 years and used it as a regular piano, it came from her grandmother who was born in 1903. At some point in the 20's, her father bought it for her and she kept it until she gave it to her grandaughter in 1989. The family lived in Bath County, Kentucky for all of those years and it makes me think that this piano would have originally seen service at Olympian Springs which was a resort during this time. The keyboard has 88 keys, and I counted 75 holes in the tracker bar. There are no rolls with the piano and it takes a Wurlitzer APP roll which is readily available. Dimensions are 62 1/4" wide by 27 5/8" deep and is 56 5/8" tall.
